Annual Staff Outing to Botanical Gardens at Bedugul
On 5th December 2009 owners Mark and Ketut Wilson closed both The Cat & Fiddle and The Wicked Parrot Restaurant for a day and took all 60 staff on the annual outing.
This year’s venue was the Eka Karya Botanical Gardens at Bedugul in the Centre of Bali. Built by the Dutch during colonial times the gardens contain a huge collection of plants and trees from many different parts of the world. it is also now home to the new Tree Tops Adventure Park which provides adventure courses high up in the trees.
While the tourists were facing the challenge in the trees, our group settled for picnicking on the lawns beneeth the trees and competing in sack races, and tug of war competitions.
